Google Maps API Version 2 | Richard K Miller

Today Google released version 2 of its Google Maps API. Features include:

A smaller JavaScript download, which should improve performance
Increased satellite resolution in several countries and large cities
A debugging log
Fewer memory leaks
An extendable map class for creating overlays, custom controls, and custom map types

I look forward to trying it.
