Today Google released version 2 of its Google Maps API. Features include:
- A smaller JavaScript download, which should improve performance
- Increased satellite resolution in several countries and large cities
- A debugging log
- Fewer memory leaks
- An extendable map class for creating overlays, custom controls, and custom map types
I look forward to trying it.
