Interesting. We have launched a service based on the software by Remote Backup Systems, Inc. http://remote-backup.com

We will offer a much more comprehensive service than what these ‘cheapos’ are offering, and will exclusively target the business sector. Our online backup software natively supports open and in-use Exchange and SQL databases, among other advanced functionality that is best suited to SMB/SMEs.

Shaun: They'd probably know better than me, but I understand it to mean that files upload in the background and if you turn off your computer they'll just start back up when you're on again. Having always-on, broadband Internet is surely best for JungleDisk.

So, it doens't always upload? I'm confused. I was reading it and it said that since its done in the background you don't notice it. Do you know how you know so you can shut your computer/internet access down?

Richard,
This sounds interesting. I need to chat with you about best options for backup as I am filling up the hard drive and one of the external drives as well. I will call you. Thank you.
