This weekend I flew to Sacramento for my cousin’s wedding. I decided to return by train, so I bought an Amtrak ticket and arrived this morning after a 21 hour ride. This week I’m going to write every day about my trip.

Looking forward the Series. I suggest a title of AM-PM-AMtrak
Looking forward to the series. I was thinking lately that I needed to give train travel a go–depending on the content of your posts, it may tip the scale.
What seat were you in Richard?
Carolynn: Are you completely acclimated to planes now? If not, how about a train?
Missy: They don’t assign seats and I don’t remember what seat I was in! I really like the phrase “the journey is part of the adventure”!
Still acclimating, but much less of a gap to cross than before. I’ve got a trip to San Francisco this week with 4 flights, so more acclimation to come.
Haven’t ever done the train thing, although, of course I’ve been on Trax & other “trolleys” in California. I’ll have to give it a whirl some time!
