I grew up in Las Vegas. When I was 12 years old my grandfather gave us his IBM PC. I read the DOS and BASIC manuals cover-to-cover (oh, to have the free time of a child again) and began programming in BASIC. Later my parents sent away for the Power C compiler, linker, and debugger, which I loved. I frequently walked to Radio Shack to buy transistors, diodes, and other odds-and-ends to play with. In 3rd grade, my teacher called me out publicly for only reading non-fiction books during our trips to the school library.
In high school I played tennis and did student council. I was a Mormon missionary in Brazil for two years. After my mission, I went to Brigham Young University and graduated with a BS in Business Management.
I currently live in Huntington Beach, CA. I’m a lead developer for FamilyLink.com. We’re hiring.
